As Political tension flared between India and the USA in mid-2025, is this just a temporary turbulence or a long-term unravelling of a once-strategic friendship?

The political context: Tariffs, Trust, Deficit and Tensions.

The US, under President Trump, recently escalated trade pressure by imposing 50% tariffs on Indian imports, citing India’s continued oil trade with Russia.

NOW:

India’s Astrological Chart – 15-August-1947 12:00 A.M, Delhi.

Taurus Ascendant:  Rahu in Ascendant, Mars in 2nd, Mercury, Moon, Venus(combust), Saturn(Combust), and Sun in 3rd, Jupiter in 6th.

By examining India’s Natal chart, we can see a multiple malefic stellium in the 3rd house, with the third lord, Moon (waned), indicating that India has had and will continue to have a complex relationship with its neighbours.

India's Current Transit:

Rahu in the 10th: Public Image Is affected, foreign policy is unpredictable, and Conflict can arise with Superior countries, as well as Leadership problems or changes can occur.

Now, if we analyse the US chart, we find multiple natural benefic planets in the 8th, especially 10th lord mercury and the 11th lord Venus.

Now 8th house shows Hidden Karma, Sudden transformation, Research, Secrets, Secret agencies, etc.

So the USA’s real strength lies in what is hidden: CIA, NSA, Secret trade control, financial regulation from behind the scenes. Also 8th house is a bad house; it means Sudden collapses and rising (Economic boom/crisis).

Now, India-U.S. relation is not doomed, but a surface-level tension has started. By seeing and comparing both charts, Mars, whose dasha is going to start, is India’s 7th and 12th lord occupying the 7th house in America's chart. The 7th house sees direct opposition, so from my small brain analysis, I think the relationship will not be as smooth as before, whereas tension can rise to the worst.
